Explore an AbstractWorks software product for FBR digital invoicing in Pakistan and the founder’s previous experience engineering logistics platforms. Company product work and earlier employment experience are presented separately.
AbstractWorks product work
FBR Digital Invoicing Platform
A multi-tenant B2B sales invoicing application designed for Pakistani businesses, combining customer and product records, invoice generation, configurable documents, and integration workflows for the FBR Digital Invoicing API.
Business context
B2B invoicing involves maintaining customer and product data, preparing accurate sales invoices, assigning user access, and handling external submission workflows. The platform brings these steps into a single tenant-based application.
Engineering scope
Built with React, Node.js, TypeScript, Prisma, and PostgreSQL. Key capabilities include tenant-based access, customer and product management, sales invoice creation, PDF generation, configurable print layouts, FBR API integration, sandbox scenario testing, and submission tracking.
Implementation approach
The application uses a React frontend and a Node.js/TypeScript backend, with Prisma and PostgreSQL for data management. Tenant-scoped workflows organize business records and access permissions. Invoice documents and FBR API submission workflows are handled as distinct parts of the invoicing process.
Practical integration considerations
FBR digital invoicing requires careful mapping of invoice data, handling of API responses, and testing of applicable sandbox scenarios. The product includes tools for scenario testing and tracking submission status; business-specific tax treatment and production configuration require separate validation.
This case study describes the implemented product scope and architecture. It does not claim official FBR certification, endorsement, guaranteed compliance, or independently verified performance improvements. Deployment suitability depends on the business and integration requirements.
Founder professional experience
Logistics & Yard Management Experience
The founder’s professional engineering experience includes yard logistics, vehicle workflows, driver communications, scheduling, and operational systems. This experience informs how AbstractWorks approaches software used in day-to-day operations.
Operational context
Coordinating vehicles, people, communications, and schedules requires an understanding of the handoffs between teams and the constraints of operational work.
Perspective carried forward
Model workflows clearly, make responsibilities visible, and design software around the people using it. These are engineering principles informed by prior professional experience.
This is prior professional experience, not a claim that AbstractWorks owns the logistics platform or delivered it as a company project. Former-employer customers are not presented as AbstractWorks clients.
